Can I store documents with masters?
Yes. TallyDocs supports storing documents with each master like tax certificates, contracts, contact info and more. No more asking customers again for information that has been misplaced or lost.
What documents can I store?
There are no restrictions. Typically PDF's and images are common. Other documents like audio recordings, voice memos, videos and XML files can also be attached to vouchers and masters.
How do I protect these documents from loss?
Computers can be damaged or stolen. Data can also be lost by mistake or malicious acts. Like with Tally.ERP 9 data, the onus of creating and maintaining a backup plan is with you. For example, we've seen companies using Google Drive for automated backup to the cloud to a secure account.
What kind of support will I need?
TallyDocs has been designed for no support. Installation is single click. Licencing is automatic on purchase. All you need to do is define a file location (per company) and you are good to go. If you ever need support we are avilable on phone.
Which versions of Tally are supported?
We support all Tally.ERP 9 versions released over the last five years. You need not be on the latest version. However we only work on licenced versions of Tally.ERP 9.
Do I need an active internet connection?
No. Just during download and activation. Like with Tally.ERP 9, TallyDocs may ocassionally connect to re-authenticate its license. Other than this, no internet connection is ever needed.
How do I secure the use of TallyDocs?
There are user access controls to attach, view, delete or configure TallyDocs. You can setupo data entry roles who can only attach files, and restrict access to delete files to a few senior prople.
